Position: School Cleaner

Reporting To: Principal

Direct Reports: Principal

:

To ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the childcare centre at all times, duties include:

• Vacuum and mop the preschool daily
• Clean and disinfect entrance and health check area at least twice a day
• Wipe and disinfect shelves and tables at the centre daily
• Wash children\xe2\x80\x99s toilets daily and clear bin at least twice a day
• Clean glass/walls when soiled
• Sanitize the toys daily, wash the toys thrice a week
• Clear all the dustbins at least 2 times a day in school daily, bring out the trash to the bin outside the school
• Sanitize high touch areas (e.g. door knobs, stairway handle, toilet flush and taps) at least twice a day
• Clean the dining area (wipe table and sweep floor) after the class uses them and before the next class arrives
• Immediately clean and prepare the class for next session usage
• Other ad hoc duties assigned

Qualifications:

Job Requirement:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience
• Working experience in a school setting is desirable
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to multi-task and work independently
