Roles & Responsibilities1. Counselling Services:o Provide individual and group counselling sessions for studentso Develop and implement tailored intervention strategies for students with specific needso Maintain confidential records of counselling sessions and student progress2. Preventive Measures:o Design and conduct workshops for students on mental health awareness and social-emotional skillso Collaborate with teachers to integrate social-emotional learning into the curriculumo Implement early intervention programmes to address potential issues before they escalate3. Collaboration and Networking:o Participate in regular meetings with the Student Development Teamo Liaise with external professionals and agencies when necessary for student supporto Engage in professional development activities and share best practices with other school counsellors4. Student Support:o Provide crisis intervention and support for students facing acute challengeso Offer guidance on academic and career-related concernso Assist in the transition process for students entering or leaving the school5. Programme Evaluation:o Conduct regular assessments of the counselling programme's effectivenesso Gather feedback from students, teachers, and parents to improve serviceso Prepare and submit reports on counselling activities and student outcomes6. Time Commitment:o Provide counselling services for 40 (8 x 5) hours per week, with specific hours to be negotiatedo Be available for occasional after-hours support in case of emergenciesRequirements:i) A diploma in counselling or equivalent or higher;ii) 1 year of relevant student counselling experience in Singaporeiii) Should have experience in:a) Professional Knowledge and Competenciesb) Interpersonal Skillsc) Ethical and Confidentiality Standardsd) Collaboration and Teamworke) Student-Centric Focusf) Technology and Digital Literacyg) Emotional Resilience and Self-CareContract Period: From 02 Jan 2025 to 31 May 2025Working Hours: Mon to Fri: 40 hours per week, excluding 1 hour for lunch break
