Mondays to Fridays: 7:00am to 3:00pm, inclusive of 45-minutes lunch break
Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted Public Holidays (including June, November and December School holidays).
Skills
Relevant Food Handling, Hygiene, and/or Food Safety Qualification(s).
Minimal 1 year experience in food preparation/handling and basic cleaning skills.
A team-player who is organized, meticulous and the ability to multi-task and possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
Daily cleaning of cookery room (cleaning of students' and teacher's work area, sinks, stove, teacher's demonstration table, washing of utensils/equipment used for practical lesson)
Wash kitchen linens, aprons etc.
Assist teachers in preparing food before every practical lesson
Ensure cleanliness of kitchen, needlework room, FCE teacher's room
Clean the fridge every week
Take stock of leftover perishable food daily, keep teacher(s) updated
Take stock of dry stores weekly
Assist teacher in other ad-hoc FCE-related duties assigned by teacher.
* Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the school.
