What the role is:School of Engineering - Lecturer - Electronics / Product Design and DevelopmentAre you passionate about sharing your experiences with youths? We invite you to join Republic Polytechnic as a Lecturer in the School of Engineering. You\'ll have the chance to inspire and guide RP students through engineering concepts, shape their educational journey, and prepare them for future success.What you will be working on:

• Facilitate student learning, develop curriculum in design thinking, user experience, circuit and industrial design, hardware interfacing and prototyping development, computer programming.

• Selected candidates are also expected to take part in academic or industry research projects.

• Duties also include mentoring students, supervising student final year projects, soliciting and supervising student internship and reaching out to various stakeholders such as secondary school students, teachers, parents, and universities.

What we are looking for:

• Qualification in Electrical / Electronic Engineering/ Mechatronics/ Mechanical Engineering
• Genuine interest and passion to share knowledge and interact with youths.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-driven, independent, and proactive, with a strong team-oriented work ethic.
• Adaptable to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Relevant working experience in electronics, mechatronics, software programming, mechanical design or Internet of Things (IoT)
• Experience in one of the following technical domain areas: Electronics, Robotics, Augmented Reality/ Virtual Reality (AR/VR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), or Product Design and Development
• Preferably equip with knowledge and programming skills.
