What the role is:We are looking for a dynamic member to join our family as an Assistant / Deputy Manager in the administration team. You play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our school. You will also have exciting opportunities to collaborate with different departments to support our transformation initiatives.What you will be working on:You will be required to:Manage all procurement requests (including tender) for the school\'s training labs and initiatives within the guidelinesProcess purchase requisitions and prepare purchase orders for all approved requisitionsPrepare ITQ/ ITT documentation, timeline, and required information to launch a successful ITQ/ITT in a timely, effective, and compliant mannerEstablish, review, and manage contracts, maintenance agreements, period contracts, and renewalsReview and track all budgets, school\'s assets, training materials, and inventoriesSupport the management and execute assigned school events and activitiesUndertake student development activities through supervision, mentoring, projects, etcParticipate in school\'s committee rolesAssume any other assignments and projects as and when requiredWhat we are looking for:A good tertiary qualification from a recognised institutionAt least 3 years of relevant administrative working experience, preferably in a related fieldRelevant experience in procurement duties, especially the use of GeBiz portal is advantageousResourceful with strong communication, influencing, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships at all levelsAble to take a hands-on approach and manage day-to-day operations independentlyGood IT literacy and proficient in using Microsoft applications software, especially in MS-ExcelMeticulous with good administrative and coordination skillsAble to work within tight deadlinesAbout Republic Polytechnic:The first educational institution in Singapore to leverage the Problem-based Learning approach for all its diploma programmes, Republic Polytechnic (RP) has seven schools offering courses in Applied Science, Engineering, Management and Communication, Hospitality, Infocomm, Sports, Health & Leisure, and Technology for the Arts.
