What the role is:School of Infocomm - Continuing Education Training (CET) Associate LecturerWhat you will be working on:This part-time teaching role involves contributing to and delivering modules from SOI\'s Continuing Education Training (CET) programmes, ( ).These programmes may be offered during the daytime, evening, or weekends, depending on scheduling needs.As part of your responsibilities, you may be involved in delivering and contributing to modules in the following areas:Programming (e.g., Python, JavaScript, React, Node.js, PWA)Agile Software DevelopmentCybersecurity (e.g., Intrusion Detection, Ethical Hacking)Financial Technology (e.g., Distributed Ledger Technology)Cloud InfrastructureData ScienceInternet of Things (IoT)Machine Learning & Artificial IntelligenceWhat we are looking for:Applicants should have a relevant degree in IT, Computer Science, or an equivalent field, with at least 3-5 years of industry experience.Proficiency in one or more of the following areas is essential:Programming/Scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript, SQL, NoSQL)Agile MethodologiesData Engineering, Visualization, and AnalyticsInternet of Things (IoT)Machine Learning and/or Artificial IntelligenceStatisticsOther relevant areas (refer to ).Applicants should also have:A genuine passion for sharing knowledge and interacting with adult learnersStrong communication and interpersonal skillsRelevant certifications and prior teaching experience (preferred)About Republic Polytechnic:The first educational institution in Singapore to leverage the Problem-based Learning approach for all its diploma programmes, Republic Polytechnic (RP) has seven schools offering courses in Applied Science, Engineering, Management and Communication, Hospitality, Infocomm, Sports, Health & Leisure, and Technology for the Arts.
