What the role is:School of Technology for the Arts, Media and Design - Continuing Education and Training (CET) Associate LecturerWhat you will be working on:As a CET Associate Lecturer you will:1. Deliver and assess curriculum for youth and adult learners via face-to-face and E-learning modes, in these areas:a. Digital Photography, Video Production, Immersive Media Production and Visual Post-production e.g., short factual/fictional video content for web, 360 Video Production, Product and Portrait Photography,b. At least one foundational school discipline area (creativity, story writing and appreciation, photography, working in the creative sector, or arts history)2. Supervise programme development activities as assigned such as portfolio development, competition training, and student projectsWhat we are looking for:

• Relevant qualification or substantial appropriate work experience preferably in the field of Media Production and Digital Marketing, specifically for Content Creation and Immersive Media.

• A minimum of four years of relevant industry experience preferably in a creative sector.

• A strong sense of initiative, and the ability to work both independently and as a team-player in collaborative settings

• The ability to manage projects and events whilst adhering to strict timelines, and conduct post implementation project reviews

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present to large and small groups, and a sensitivity to the needs of people of diverse academic, socio-economic, and cultural backgrounds

• A self-starter, agile learner, with a personal interest in coaching and mentoring others and managing stakeholder expectations

• Strong analytical, administrative and digitalisation skills including accessing databases and IT-enabled automation Additional Advantages:

• Teaching or professional training experience

• Advance Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) certified

• Management experience

• Experience in Motion Graphics and Post-production, both in Adobe and Davinci Resolve

• Experience using digital design applications (Adobe or similar) and E-learning tools (e.g., Adobe Captivate or similar)
