What the role is:
School of Sports and Health - CET Associate Lecturer
What you will be working on:
The Associate Lecturers for Sport and Exercise Science will contribute and deliver modules or courses in the following areas:
- Strength and Conditioning
- Exercise Programming and Assessment
- Sports and Exercise Prescription
- Relevant qualification in physical education, exercise science or related disciplines.
- Professional certification in strength and conditioning
- At least 1 year of practical high-performance and/or tactical strength and conditioning industry experience; in the planning and delivery of strength and conditioning services.
- Candidates should be able to:
o conduct fitness assessment
o demonstrate strength and conditioning exercises and drills
o plan periodised exercise prescription
- Self-driven team-players with growth mindset who:
o complete duties to team standards in a timely manner
o pay attention to detail
o have good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
o proficient with Microsoft Office, administrative tasks and mark academic assessment.
- Able to commit to at least 2 weekdays, and/or night/weekend classes during course runs.
