What the role is:School of Technology for Arts, Media and Design - Technical Executive - Up to 11 Months ContractWhat you will be working on:(a) Teaching and Learning
i. Liaise with lecturers to assist in the set up of AV equipment for classes, industry projects, campus and off-campus events, and adhoc workshops.
ii. Perform first-tier repair/servicing work of AV equipment and troubleshoot IT issues
iii. Ensure operational readiness of teaching aids, such as video cameras, sound systems, projectors, computers and AV consumables(b) Facilities and Asset Management
i. Liase with vendors on the:

• Sourcing of quotations related to equipment/component purchases
• Installation of new equipment
• Maintenance and repairs of existing equipment

ii. Manage and track the booking of equipment and facilities
iii. Maintain documentation i.e. inventory records in accordance with internal procedures and guidelines
iv. Tag purchased goods, consumables and file for asset management
v. Ensure proper and safe use of teaching spaces and equipment in accordance with QEHS (Quality Environment Health Safety), WSH policies and procedures(c) Administrative Support
i. Perform simple admin tasks as requiredWhat we are looking for:Job Requirement:
(a) Minimum three (3) years in AV and tech support industries
(b) Worked in live sound productions. Dante Level 1 certification, electrical power and RF coordination and distribution will be an advantage
(c)Familiar with Digital Audio Workstation. Sound recording, audio production in studio environments will be an advantage
(d) Able to perform entry-level IT functions and also, have good computer literacy.
(e) Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.
(f) An aptitude for learning and innovation
(g) Strong team player mind-set yet able to work independently and work well under pressure to meet deadlines
