Science Lab Assistant / S$1,950 Per Month / Yishun

Job Description
- Support daily practical and practical exams preparations
- Dispense chemicals and lay out apparatus (glassware,chemicals, safety goggles etc)
- Collect and clear away equipment and chemicals, and other teaching materials after each practical including safely disposing of chemicals and washing of glass apparatus.
- Before the start of each term during term break: general replenishment of bench reagents
- Any other ad-hoc duties that may be assigned by the Science Laboratory Technician.
Requirements
- Min. GCE \'O\' Level
- Basic knowledge on lab settings and chemical preparation would be an advantage
- Relevant past experience working in a science lab would be an advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player with a positive attitude and pleasant disposition
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Mondays to Fridays: 7.30 am to 4.00 pm; 1 hour lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted school and public holidays
- Contract Period: 01 July 2023 to 31 Dec 2023 (with option to extend)
