Assist Science teachers in preparing and clearing apparatus for lessons.
Set up and maintain visual aids, info-tech equipment, and laboratory instruments. Maintain cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness of the laboratories. Prepare chemical solutions, replenish stock, and manage inventory. Support environmental and sustainability initiatives (Eco-Garden, Eco-Pond, Hydroponics). Assist in stock-taking of science and math resources. Requirements: Minimum secondary school education. At least 3 years experience as a laboratory assistant in a primary school. Physically fit for light manual tasks (lifting, cleaning, gardening). Basic English communication skills and good interpersonal skills. Team player with attention to detail. Duration/ Working hours: 12 months contract (Option to extend another year) 1 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2026 38 hours per week Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am to 3:00pm, inclusive of 0.5 hr lunch break Fridays: 8:30am to 5:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays ** We regret to inform only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
