Join the premier biopharmaceutical company that has been in Singapore for more than 25 years and in AP for over 60 years.
Our Research Scientists are our Inventors. We identify and target steps in disease mechanisms or pathways that could be inhibited or enhanced. Our goal is to isolate a compound that is effective against a disease target. Using innovative thinking, state-of-the-art facilities and robust scientific methodology we collaborate to discover the next medical breakthrough.
The Genome & Biomarker Sciences (GBx) department is currently seeking a Scientist with strong experience in bioanalytical assay development to join our Molecular Biomarkers team at the Singapore site. In this role, you will be accountable for developing, validating, and deploying biomarker assays on Cardio-Metabolic Disease (CMD) and Neuroscience (NS) projects, using samples from animal models and patients, with the goal of driving patient stratification, demonstrating target engagement, evaluating pharmacodynamic response, and guiding dose selection.
In Singapore, our site is located within the Biopolis, the heart of Singapore's biomedical research community. Here, we are focused on identifying and validating new drug targets, exploring innovative therapeutic modalities, and leveraging clinical studies and patient-derived material to understand biomarkers of disease or therapeutic response. Our state-of-the-art laboratory supports discovery biology and translational medicine and is an integral part of the company's world-class network for drug and vaccine discovery.
