Job Description

The Scrum Master's primary objective is to facilitate the scrum ceremonies and coach the team on adopting Agile principles and remove impediments. The role will be a "hands on" supervisory role, with user stories management, continual risk assessment & coaching of the team members for performance. This role demands the candidate to be responsible and accountable; and possesses good communication skills.

Responsibilities:
The Scrum Master is in charge of project success. His/Her responsibilities includes:

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and coach the team on Agile principles
• Works closely with the Project Owner to finalize the user stories, project deliverables, prioritization, estimations and planning
• Follow up on IT tasks with various stake holders (eg: development team, business analysts, testers, architecture team, environment managers, infrastructure teams, security teams etc.)
• Creates partnership with project manager, solution architects and development team
• Ensure adherence to delivery schedule and estimates
• Provide regular reporting to management
• Burndown chart
• Status reports, Risks, Issues
• Liaise with vendors to ensure successful delivery of all aspects of the projects
• Manage and facilitate the resolution of impediments
• Manage project risks and take appropriate actions to mitigate issues and problems
• Facilitate communication with stakeholders and delivery teams
• Review the quality of the work completed with the scrum team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the contract requirements
• Provide continual feedback to the development team

Mandatory Requirements

• Must have good coaching, people management and communications skills.
• Must have strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem solving skills
• Must have track records of managing successful delivery and implementation of IT projects
• Must have at least 3+ years of experience as Scrum Master
• Must have scrum certifications
