Business Function Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. Responsibilities

• As the dev lead, you are responsible to understand the requirements, analyse the functional delivery, define specification, design solutions.
• Lead the development life cycle by serving as a solution SME to help identify and qualify business development opportunities.
• Oversee day-to-day team operations and coaching them as needed in task delivery.
• Gather and refine specification and requirements based on technical needs.
• Follow Agile Software methodologies for development.
• Fosters a culture of automated unit, feature and regression test suites.
• Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
• Team Lead with problem resolving skills and encourage team to focus on issues at hand.
• Evaluate and communicate technical risk and ensure applications are delivered against a schedule with the highest quality.
• Actively drive User story grooming sessions/Sprint Planning Sessions as per release timelines.
• Co-ordination with other systems for end to end integration.
• Survey market landscape for solution/application insights, direction, vendors, and methods.
• Make sure of active engagement for the squads allocated.
• As a Scrum Master you should be an expert in the Scrum framework and should provide servant leadership to 2 to 3 scrum teams.
• Your primary function is to be the Scrum steward, ensure that the team adhere to scrum ceremonies, practices, rules and hold the team collectively and individually accountable to meet the platform goals.

Requirements

• Relevant Scrum Master Experience: 2+ years
• Total years of experience: 8+ years
• Working knowledge of banking or investment products.
• Experience managing large scale projects and teams.
• Experience in engaging with senior stakeholders.
• Timely and quality delivery of assigned deliveries.
• Partner with Business and Operations stakeholders (Three in a box) for roadmap planning, prioritization and execution.
• Lead delivery life cycle by serving as a solution SME to help identify and qualify business development opportunities.
• Oversee day-to-day team operations and coaching them as needed in task delivery.
• Regular delivery status reporting to stakeholders.
• Manage delivery resource, budget and scope.
• Ensure the solutions adhered to DBS standards and processes.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems.
• Understanding of enterprise integration and messaging patterns.
• Proven experience of having solved complex analytical and technical problems.
• Strong analytical skills and proven ability to simplify and clearly communicate complex analytical outcomes, linkages, and messages.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Proactive and able to work under pressure, strong problem-solving skills, and positive attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of private and public cloud – PCF or GCP or AWS.
• Being excellent team player.
• Prior experience in Private/wealth Banking services delivery/scrum handling would be a big plus.
