Shipping & Logistic Executive

• 5 days, 9am- 5.45pm
• Salary: $3400- $4500
• Address: Bugis

Job requirements:Shipping and Logistics

• Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another
• Arrange transportation and deliveries of goods from suppliers to meet customers\' demand without any delay
• Manage activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle within stipulated deadlines

Documentation and Administration

• Coordinate documentations with suppliers for shipment of goods to customers
• Support the purchases of goods and services to our customers globally
• Handle full scope of purchasing documentation process (generate and complete the approval of Sales Orders and POs; manage, monitor and update delivery status and schedules; highlighting any discrepancies/delay to the superior and provide recommendations as necessary).
• Prepare all shipping documents for import shipments and process bank documents such as Letter of Credit, etc.
• Carry out administrative tasks such as data input, processing of information, completing paper work and filling of documents.
• Handle feedbacks & complaints from customers and suppliers
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Superior.

Continuous Improvements

• Review of freight costs, transportation rates or any other costs associated with logistics arrangements for cost optimization
• Track the performance of suppliers, and support improvement initiatives with suppliers
• Continuous process improvement, e.g. streamlines documentation process to simplify and improve processing time

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma, preferably in supply chain management and logistics.
• Minimum 7-10 years of relevant logistic and shipping experience. Candidate who comes from trading industry is highly preferred
• Hands-on experience in LC preparation and documentation is a must
• Strong technical knowledge in the logistic and shipping industry
• Highly proficient in desktop technologies (e.g. MS Office Excel, Word, Outlook) and in ERP system (e.g. Oracle).
