Job description Pre- Requisites We seek dynamic teachers for various subjects who are able to:
- prepare and deliver lessons to a range of classes of different ages and abilities
- mark work, give appropriate feedback and maintain records of pupils\' progress and development
- prepare pupils for external examinations and competitions
- manage pupil behavior in the classroom and on school premises, and apply appropriate and effective measures in cases of misbehavior
- communicate with parents, communicates pupils\' progress and participate in departmental meetings, parents\' evenings and organizational training events
- help students reach their full potential and should be passionate about teaching;
- work well in a team while contributing ideas and sharing course materials;
- inspire young people from all backgrounds;
- prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced work environment;
- make the school environment lively with a good sense of humor
- We seek teacher who is familiar with international curricula( especially Cambridge Primary Curriculum) and current pedagogical techniques and who are comfortable with technology
- A degree in English is preferred but those with a degree in other disciplines are also welcome.
- Ability to teach core academic subjects other than English would be an added advantage.
- A degree in education B.ED or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Planning and presenting lessons to facilitate students\' understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
- Preparing and distributing learning material such as notes, assignments, and quizzes.
- Mark work, give appropriate feedback and maintain records of pupils\' progress and development
- Prepare pupils for external examinations and competitions
- Manage pupil behavior in the classroom and on school premises, and apply appropriate and effective measures in cases of misbehavior
- Communicate with parents over pupils\' progress and participate in departmental meetings, parents\' evenings, and organizational training events
- Sourcing the resources and supplies needed for lessons.
- Ensuring that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning.
- Grading assignments and quizzes in a timely manner.
- Invigilating quizzes and final examinations.
- Documenting and reporting on students\' progress.
- Attending meetings with parents and staff.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Education with a specialization in Mathematics, or equivalent.
- Computer Skills
- At least 3 year(s) of relevant teaching experience in schools.
- Ability to teach core academic subjects other than Math would be an added advantage.
