Job Description
Candidate will be responsible for co-leading the English Department in the GIG International School. S/he will ensure high standards of teaching, learning and achievement, efficient use of resources and creative development of the Cambridge English curriculum across all segments.Reporting Manager: The Principal / SupervisorReportees : Members of the Department (Teachers) Key Responsible Areas: 1. Policy/Strategic direction and development2. Leadership and management of others3. Teaching and learning and student achievement4. Co-curricular activities in the department5. Management of resources6. Monitoring, evaluation & assessment7. Teacher developmentGeneral requirements:
- Working experience in international School ( Cambridge IGCSE preferably)
- Senior teacher position: at least 2 years(Paper 0500 and 0475)
- Master's Degree in English Language/Literature
- Degree in Education(preferred)
- IGCSE program experience - at least 2 years
- Health insurance
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Master's (Preferred)
- Teaching IGCSE curriculum: 2 years (Required)
- Pass to work in Singapore (Preferred)
