Job Description


What the role is:The Section Manager will be responsible for managing and developing the team, overseeing the daily operations in the provision of Human Resource Services for our Service Partners. As a Section Manager, you will ensure that work requests are processed promptly and accurately, partnering agencies and external partners to resolve service issues and improve processes.What you will be working on:

  • Manage and oversee work activities performed by the team, to achieve prompt and accurate service delivery to the Service Partners. \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan and implement learning and development activities of officers in the team to ensure they possess the required competencies to carry out their work. \xe2\x80\xa2 Carry out process reviews and improvements to achieve better efficiency and effectiveness. \xe2\x80\xa2 Identify risks and enhance controls to mitigate against risks. \xe2\x80\xa2 Be responsive to the needs and queries of Service Partners and other stakeholders. \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan and incorporate new policy and system requirements into existing processes as Process Deskhead, including revising training materials and SOPs for officers. \xe2\x80\xa2 Work with Service Partners to assess business requirements, plan and carry out service commencement or transition. \xe2\x80\xa2 Engage and manage external training providers to provide courses to Public Officers via the HR and Payroll system. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide necessary guidance and supervision to the team of officers.
What we are looking for:
  • Entry level position where candidates without relevant experience are welcome to apply. \xe2\x80\xa2 Candidates with 3 years of relevant working experience in HR, of which 1 year is in a supervisory role, would be preferred. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of HR/Payroll Software (Excelity Payroll, Workday, SAP) and automation tools will be advantageous. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good communication and presentation skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong analytical skills and interpersonal skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Can work well under pressure \xe2\x80\xa2 Service and process-oriented mindset \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in process improvement is beneficial We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
