STMicroelectronics is seeking for a bright, motivated, hardworking individual and strong team player to fill the Procurement Manager (Section) position in its Purchasing Organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, commitment to Operational Excellence and a strong experience in procurement associated with proven people management skills. This role is viewed as one of the key components of our business and will have a direct impact on our procurement and field operations in the future.

This position is primarily responsible in managing negotiation processes, Contract Management related in logistics services, warehouse solutions and capabilities that meet and exceed Global Logistics Warehousing Organization (GLWO) requirements and expectations, at competitive cost, through the effective execution of sourcing and procurement processes.

Part of job rotation within the team, candidate will coordinating activities in the purchasing of goods and services required in indirect business needs. Related to HR Site Services, R&D, Sales & Marketing, External Communication exhibition event for various departments and any other non-manufacturing purchases.

Reporting to the Head of Procurement in Singapore for Asia Site Service and Logistics, to support the Global Purchasing Organization in the implementation and enforcement of Company policy and the execution of Asia procurement events.
Identify and qualify new vendors in line with Policies. Mitigating supply chain risk, reduce supplier dependency, increase Company\'s leverage, innovate.

Job scope:

• Conduct competitive bid exercises in line with Policies Organization service requirements at the best economic value).
• Execute service contracts and agreements (Negotiate favorable terms & conditions, mitigate Company\'s risk/exposure, protect Company\'s interests).
• Lead and guide stakeholders in the execution of procurement events (Assure compliance with Company\'s Policies).
• Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews and performance evaluation with Key Suppliers (Manage supplier relationship, ensure alignment of service level and cost rendered versus contracted).
• Consolidate and tabulate key Company\'s indicators (activity, spend, savings, continually improve performance whilst reducing cost).
• To work together with internal stakeholder team to define the scope of works for tenders.

Profile

Requirements:

• Min Bachelor Degree from the Relevant fields
• Min 8-10 years of related work experience in procurement. Finance / Logistics sectors knowledge and/or experience will be an advantage
• Relevant procurement work experience in semi-conductor or electronics industry preferably
• Strength in Supplier Relationship Management. Having network in Logistics Service Providers is an advantage
• Strength in MS Excel & Powerpoint is a must.
• Strength in purchasing process, project management, contract law, transportation law
• Strength in analytical, communication, negotiation, influencing, reporting skill
• Knowledge in PowerBI and Power Automate is a plus.
