Job Description
Reporting to the Manager (Security and Safety), you will be based in Jurong Port Road and is part of a team to maintain the security & safety within the Company's premise. The key responsibilities include:
- Conduct security screening of all incoming and outgoing personnel/vehicles at the gate
- Direct traffic and facilitate car parking
- Conduct routine patrol
- Conduct basic workplace and fire safety checks
- Perform guardhouse duty like security screening, pass exchange, etc
- Handle simple fire safety and security incidents
- Make use of security systems (CCTV, Electronic Access Control System and PMD) to execute job duties
- Must be able to commit to permanent night shift, from 8.30pm to 8.30am
- Possess the Basic Security License from PLRD for Security Officer which consist of 3 WSQ modules, namely
- Min Secondary education and is able to read and write in English
- Physically fit, alert, resourceful
- Good communicate skills
- Previous work experience with the Police/Armed Forces or a multi-national company would be an advantage
