We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Security Researcher to lead cutting-edge security research targeting hardware devices and ecosystems. You will be responsible for discovering and analyzing novel vulnerabilities in hardware, software, and communication protocols. This role is ideal for someone with deep technical expertise in security, a passion for breaking things to make them better, and a track record of impactful vulnerability research.
Key Responsibilities:Lead security research initiatives focused on hardware devices, platforms, and connected ecosystems (e.g., controllers, sensors, apps, and wireless protocols).
Research and develop defenses for hardware, firmware, kernel, and application-level vulnerabilities.
Develop custom tools, exploits, and methodologies to simulate real-world attack scenarios.
Reverse engineer proprietary software and firmware for threat modeling and vulnerability analysis.
Collaborate with internal teams to demonstrate risks and provide actionable remediation guidance.
Publish high-quality internal reports and/or external whitepapers, conference talks (e.g., Black Hat, DEF CON) when applicable.
Stay current with emerging tactics, adversarial techniques, and trends.
Mentor junior researchers and contribute to building a culture of technical excellence.
Minimum Requirements:Proven experience in cyber security, vulnerability research, or red teaming (minimum 5-7 years).
Strong background in exploit development, fuzzing, reverse engineering, and vulnerability discovery.
Proficiency in low-level programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Assembly) and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash).
Deep understanding of hardware and software architectures.
Experience with wireless protocol hacking, system internals, and firmware analysis.
Familiarity with fuzzing frameworks, disassemblers/debuggers and binary instrumentation tools.
Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly articulate complex technical findings.
Desirable Requirements:Security certifications such as OSCE, OSCP, GXPN, CISSP, CEH, etc.
Experience with side-channel analysis, hardware implants, or EM fault injection.
Prior publications, CVEs, or relevant open-source contributions.
