* Provide pro-active support to the business units assigned. This would include review, analyse and provide recommendation on revenue recognition, project profitability and optimisation of costs. * Provide comprehensive actual f Provide pro-active support to the business units assigned. This would include review, analyse and provide recommendation on revenue recognition, project profitability and optimisation of costs. Provide comprehensive actual financial performance vs. budget variance and trend analysis of financials with insightful commentaries on a monthly basis. Compute key financial indicators and measures to optimise the financial decision-making by Business Units. Preparation of the annual budget and rolling forecast for the Business Units. Provide advisory to Business Units on tax implications and potential tax exposure for existing projects and new business opportunities. Manage the financial and statutory accounting for entities assigned. Ensure timely and accurate reporting on a monthly basis. Handle statutory audit, which includes preparation of financial statements as well as liaise with external auditors. Handle tax matters which would include the quarterly GST filing as well as corporate tax. Identify weak internal controls and propose mitigating measures to strengthen these areas. Liaise with internal auditors. Ad-hoc duties assigned and thismay include review of policies and continual process re-engineering. Requirements Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Accountancy or equivalent At least 5 to 10 years of relevant working experience Minimum 4 years of experience gained in Big 4 Audit Firms preferred Knowledge of SAP is an advantage Proficient in MS Office applications Willing to travel when required Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment Meticulous and able to work independently Our office is currently located at Jalan Bukit Merah. However, we will be moving to Jalan Bahar (Jurong West) in the 2nd half of 2022.
