This is a one-year fixed term contract and the position is based in the West. Our client specializes in the supplying of industrial equipment with an annual revenue of $100 Million. They are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the incumbent ensure revenue and direct costs are accurately recognized and invoiced on time. He / She will perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, as well as gross margin and flux variance analysis, and review monthly audit schedules. Accurate inventory accounting will be a key responsibility, including preparing monthly aging reports, reviewing slow-moving inventory, and coordinating the annual physical count. Additionally, the role will require supporting audits, participating in system enhancements, and completing ad-hoc projects for the management. REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- Min 6 years of accounting experience
- Conversant in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
- Prior experience in an audit firm would be advantageous
