Position: Senior Accountant
Client: UK-based

No work on PHL HolidaysDuties and responsibilities include:

• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Bookkeeping, making correction where appropriate
• Set up and operate new payroll system
• Managing trial balance, balance sheet and profit and loss accounts
• Preparation of self-employed and limited company accounts
• Preparation of service charge accounts
• Various one-off projects as required for/by clients
• Assist in implementation of new office systems
• Asist with onboarding of new clients
• Document management: request, receive and organize client documentation

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
• Experience in a BPO is an advantage
• Public practice experience is preferred
• Required language(s): English, Filipino
• Experience in using XERO and Sage accounting software is an advantage
• At least 5 years of general accounting experience in the related field is required for this position
• Must be willing to work on UK shift (3:30 PM to 11:30 PM)
• Full-time position(s) available.

Experience:

• Accounting / General Accounting: 5 years (Preferred)
• XERO software: 1 year (Preferred)
• Bookkeeping: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPA (Preferred)
