Job Description

• Position: Senior Accounts Executive or Assistant Accountant (ACCPAC)
• Location: Tuas West Road (Company transport provided)
• Working hours: 5 days, Mon to Fri (office hours)
• Salary (commensurate on experience): Up to $4200 + Bonus (1-3 months) + H;S Medical Scheme
• Duration: Permanent
• Industry: Industrial waste management

Main Responsibilities:

• Record day-to-day financial transactions in the company\'s accounting system
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, and general ledger entries
• Assist with monthly and year-end financial reporting, including preparing financial statements and supporting schedules
• Assist with audits and other financial projects, as needed
• Monitor and reconcile bank and credit card accounts
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and team members

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Experience with accounting software, such as ACCPAC or similar.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates in view of business communications
