About this role
The Senior Acoustics Consultant will be the source of expertise, attendance and input at design meetings and providing clear advice to clients, architects, and engineers (internal and external) on design issues related. The technical duties include of preparing and overseeing the proposal of acoustics, noise and vibration assessments, sound management programmes and design specification. You will need to liaise with clients collating of data, computer modelling, noise and vibration monitoring and measurements, calculations, and interpretation of data to produce reports, drawings, and figures.

What will I do?

  • You will lead acoustics design input on the key projects for Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia, managing the time, quality and cost of performance of projects
  • Provide input to mentor the junior staffs in researching/developing novel technical/design applications and/or procedures
  • Maintain and Develop quality systems
  • Will lead the acoustics, audio-visual and Theatre Design in business development and marketing.
  • Provide input into Arup global skills networks within the Acoustics areas


What will I bring?
  • Degree in Engineering or Science (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Acoustics) with 10 years of relevant experience in providing specialist technical acoustics design advice
  • Good knowledge of acoustics materials for sound control and detail of construction elements that includes of partitions, ceilings, and mullions
  • Able to Predict and plan out the resources with good understanding of operating costs
  • Manage time effectively and delegates tasks well
  • Strong stance on decisions and able to explain/defend the difficult outcome and predict long term effects from current approaches
