Your Role and Responsibilities
The Senior Solution Consultant is responsible for end-to-end solutioning of the deal, working closely with the opportunity Owner, Delivery leads, Industry and Technical Subject Matter Experts as required.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Liaise with the client and Bid Team to gather solution requirements, client expectations and contribute to defining value proposition of the opportunity
• Own and drive technical solution strategy, Solution design and estimate
• Work closely with opportunity owners / clients in leading the development of overall solution
• Collaborate with Delivery leadership to craft a competitive and deliverable solution
• Participate in client workshop, oral presentations and assist bid teams with SOW/ Proposal development
• Work as a coach/mentor and assist the Solution Consultant to build optimized, quality service solution involving all necessary stake holders
• Ensure that IBM assets and repeatable frameworks are utilized in solutions, when relevant to build a quality solution with minimal cost
• Ensure that the solution adheres to IBMs strategy on hybrid cloud security etc by involving relevant stakeholders including but not limited to Cloud solution centre, Security SMEs, Automation experts, Work force Management etc
• Take responsibility of costing the solution using IBM tools in consultation with the bid team
• Lead and complete solution handover to Delivery and Participate in quality reviews
• Liaise with required internal IBM teams to obtain necessary reviews, reconcile estimates, and optimize the solution and secure approvals

Required Professional and Technical Expertise:

• This role requires excellent analytical and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail with an ability to think outside the box to provide innovative solutions to client problems
• 15+ years of experience in IT industry with at least 5 years in a solutioning / pre-sales role in a large consulting services organization
• Experience delivering Application Maintenance Services projects leading diverse and global teams
• Have good Knowledge of Cloud providers (IBM, Azure, AWS or GCP) and surrounding tools (Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, Docker, Apigee, MuleSoft, etc.) preferably certified in any of the cloud platforms
• Possess an Automation First and Cloud First Mindset while solving problems.
• Thorough understanding of DevOps culture, CI/CD Pipelines, and advanced technical practices to support small batch size delivery
• Thorough understanding of agile and lean methodologies, values, and procedures
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams
• Foundational understanding of Design Thinking, User Centered Design and Organizational Change Management (OCM) concepts
• Experience in estimation and costing for large and complex solutions
• Strong verbal and written communications skills, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
• Professional Certification in AWS /Azure/Google/IBM Cloud
