As a Senior Advanced Project Engineer at Honeywell, you will lead and manage Telecom and Security (TSI) engineering team in a project environment performing basic & detailed engineering, material specification for procurement, configuration of hardware / software, testing, installation, and commissioning of Honeywell supplied systems while interfacing with clients on technical issues and identifying changes or variations in the scope of supply.

Key Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 To work with Project Manager and Engineers to review design inputs and schedule planning.

\xc2\xb7 To perform and review the basic design & detailed engineering while guiding the engineering team in issuance of the engineering deliverables.

\xc2\xb7 To prepare Functional Design Specifications.

\xc2\xb7 To assist Project Manager and Engineers in identification of design changes and submission to clients for variation orders.

\xc2\xb7 To perform engineering site verifications (site surveys).

\xc2\xb7 To assist Project Manager in preparation & compilation of the material requisition list and material specifications for procurement.

\xc2\xb7 To initiate utilization of best engineering practices, training, tools, and methodologies.

\xc2\xb7 To perform and guide the engineering team in design or configuration of hardware & software.

\xc2\xb7 To prepare the testing procedure and execute the testing of system for acceptance by clients.

\xc2\xb7 To assist and supervise site installation and commissioning works.

\xc2\xb7 To prepare and update the as-built documentation timely.

MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor\'s Degree in engineering (preferably Electrical/Electronic, Information Technology, Communication/Network) or equivalent.
  • Experience in fundamental Telecommunication links on cables, Microwave, Radio, and Satellite.
  • Experience in RF link budget, TETRA-radio, UHF Microwave, PAGA, VSAT etc.
  • Experiences in Security System - CCTV, Access Control System, Intrusion detection System, Road Barrier, Under Vehicle Surveillance System, etc.,
  • Network knowledge and experiences in LAN/WAN with qualification on CCNA as minimum.
  • Capability of leading a team of 2-5 engineers, often multi-disciplines and possibly handling more than one project at one time.
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in project execution and system engineering works preferably in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Process Plant industries.
  • Ability to command respect and delegate work to team.
  • Possess customer delight as central objective and foster strong customer relationships.
WE VALUE:
  • Knowledge in and ability to perform Coverage study - CCTV, Radio, Radar, Sound.
  • Honeywell system experience is preferred, but exposure to other similar Telecom & Security system is an advantage.
  • Leadership and planning skills
  • Computer literacy and ability to work with MS Office
  • Excellent team and communication skills, (verbal and written), negotiation and interpersonal skill
  • Ability to take initiative and work with limited direction
  • Proven ability to create, support, and enhance specific action plans.
  • A keen understanding of industry-related technology.
