Job Description


The Role Responsibilities

  • We\'re building a new team that focuses on the increasingly critical and complex area of client and supply-chain security. This role is ideal for a cyber threat intelligence analyst looking to diversify their knowledge and skills by applying them across multiple geographies, industries and sectors. The Client & Third-Party Intelligence (CTPI) team will work to proactively identify relevant threat intelligence applicable to our diverse portfolio of clients, and third-party suppliers. In the event of a suspected cyber security incident impacting a client or third-party supplier, CTPI will work closely with multiple stakeholders to evaluate the impact and provide relevant intelligence to assist with mitigation efforts.
  • As a senior analyst within CTPI, you would be reasonable for analysing relevant intelligence using a combination of industry leading tools. You will curate and maintain rules and alerts, develop written intelligence reports and briefings, and attend and provide input on incident response calls. Although this is not a People Leader role, you will provide oversight, coaching and support to junior analysts.
Strategy
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Bank\'s Client & Third-Party Intelligence strategy
  • Identify strategic opportunities to enhance the Bank\'s overall security posture through improved client and third-party security intelligence.
Business
  • Develop and maintain rules and alerts to enhance discovery of relevant intelligence.
  • Pivot on relevant indicators of compromise (IoCs) to investigate threats, actors and infrastructure.
  • Facilitate business continuity by proactively identifying and mitigating potential cyber threats targeting our clients, or our third-party suppliers.
  • Ensure the timely production and delivery of high-quality intelligence reports, suitable for range of stakeholders, including executive-level.
  • Create and conduct briefings for internal and external delivery (for example, to support client engagements).
Processes
  • Regularly review and improve processes for threat identification, threat assessment and incident response in relation to a potential security incident impacting a third-party supplier or client.
  • Contribute to the training and awareness of clients, in the form of written products, presentations, briefings (in-person and remote), conferences and seminars.
People & Talent
  • Promote a collaborative culture within the team and across the organisation
  • Contribute to the training and development of team members and other staff on client and third-party security issues.
Risk Management
  • Manage and mitigate the cyber risk exposure of the Bank, its clients and third-party suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain effective risk management protocols and procedures in-line with the Bank\'s policies.
Governance
  • Provide quality assurance checking, oversight and coaching of junior analysts
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and applicable laws.

  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. Our Ideal Candidate
  • 5 and more years of Client and Third-Party Intelligence and/or relevant experience.
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science or Similar Field
  • Certifications: Certified in Giac Cyber Threat Intelligence (Gcti) Or Equivalent is Preferred
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with an excellent business communication (written and spoken).
  • Strong interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills
