For more information, visit .IntroductionThis is a strategic procurement role that is critical to ensure competitive supply of high-quality materials and services to the GlobalFoundries Singapore operations. The role is global in nature, with a large pool of stakeholders and leadership team in Singapore, Malaysia, Germany, and the USEssential Responsibilities:Define sourcing strategy(s) for assigned commodity(ies) in alignment with the objectives of the Global Supply Management organization and the respective Global Commodity HeadPlan and conduct commercial negotiations and support global negotiations as requiredActively utilize strategic tools, processes & systems to perform sourcing and analytical/reporting tasks (Jaggaer, Spend Analytics, Power BI, Clean sheeting, Negotiation Planners, SAP Ariba, SAP iCertis, etc).Identify continuous improvement opportunities, alternative sourcing strategies, global price trends, and communicate progress / achievements to realize maximum value and organizational objectivesMonitor the local and global market to identify potential new suppliers, product derivatives, and product innovationsAnalyze, manage, and control contractual agreements and prepare renegotiations to achieve commercial and technical objectivesEstablish a robust business continuity sourcing plan for assigned commodity(s) via mapping supply base and geographic risks with corresponding mitigation plansSupport escalations from Regional Strategists by engaging suppliers for prompt resolutionsOther Responsibilities:Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor\'s degree in engineering, Science, Business Administration and/or relevant field of study2-4 years relevant work experience in an industrial environmentProficiency in sourcing related skills including sourcing strategy development and execution, contract management and supplier performance managementAbility to lead projects and cross-functional teamsExceptional interpersonal skills with ability to motivate and influence stakeholders and team membersGood problem-solving skills, in analyticsAbility and willingness to travel internationally including China, Malaysia, Japan, USA, and Germany from time to timePreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of process materials used in electronics manufacturing, quality requirements and related supply baseExperience in a semi-conductor environment or related industryGlobalFoundries is an equal opportunity employer, cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
