As the global LNG market looks to adapt to the generational changes driven by the Energy Transition, we are seeking a highly motivated Senior Analyst to provide clarity to our clients in a time of unprecedented uncertainty.

We are thrilled to announce that we are sourcing for a person who will join us as Senior LNG Analyst!

YOU AND YOUR TEAM

You will join a worldwide group of dedicated analysts, modellers and subject matter experts in an open, supportive and innovative team environment, with collaboration at the core of all our achievements.

Demonstrating passion and curiosity, you will drive our analysis and commentary of Southeast Asia and the wider APAC region, including supply-demand fundamentals, trade flows and pricing, as well as corporate and policy developments.

You will relish being the go-to expert on some of the world\'s most exciting markets, where domestic dynamics move global pricing and tradeflows. While the increasingly interconnected nature of the world\xe2\x80\x99s gas and LNG markets means you will maintain a solid awareness of broader global themes and trends.

Internally, you will work closely with analysts across Natural Gas and LNG\'s multi-disciplinary team and the broader Commodities group to develop new insights and expand the scope of existing products. Externally, you will understand clients\xe2\x80\x99 workflows and ensure we continue to deliver data and analysis in the most impactful way. You will also grow the company brand and your own personal brand, maintaining positive relationships with clients and the natural gas industry, through regular engagements and insightful analysis.

Our clients are Natural Gas and LNG producers, importers, distribution companies, trading houses and financial institutions.

SOME OF THE DAILY TASK YOU WILL PERFORM:

• Leading and contributing to market reports, transforming our data and forecasts into meaningful analysis
• Assisting in maintaining our industry-leading market models, embracing an ethos of continuous improvement to help ensure our modelling solutions remain relevant
• You will process and maintain data accurately and in a timely manner onto databases using technical and advanced market knowledge
• Supporting projects, using technical understanding to help remove obstacles and to find creative solutions
• You will ensure data quality, accuracy, timeliness, and completeness
• Supporting improvements to content and design of our analytical tools, charts, and tables
• While focused on the APAC LNG market, you will maintain an awareness of broader global themes and trends relevant to our European and North America products, and be prepared to support the global team covering these

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?

• Natural curiosity and a detail-oriented approach
• At least four years of relevant experience
• Understanding of the importance of ensuring data quality and accuracy
• Economic knowledge with strong grounding in statistics and/or operational research
• Basic Programming experience in MATLAB, Python, R and/or willingness to learn
• Positive attitude to learning new skills and technologies, particularly around the Gas market and analytics
• Excellent spoken and written English
