What the role is
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will co-lead the Treasury Branch within the division.
What you will be working on
As a Senior Assistant Director (Treasury Branch), you will need to assess, monitor, plan and manage the efficient utilisation of financial resources in a manner consistent with the objectives of the Agency. You will be responsible for the following: • Implement investment strategy and policies • Develop processes and procedures to track and manage the investment portfolio • Monitor and ensure that investments are in compliance with governance framework • Conduct due diligence on external fund managers, custodian, etc • Support any fund raising exercise that NEA may embark on • Review and ensure that all accounting , audit and statutory reporting requirements are met • Secretariat to the Board Finance Committee
What we are looking for
• Degree in Finance or Accountancy with 8-15 years of experience in treasury management • Strong analytical skills and meticulous with an eye for detail • Good communication (written/verbal) and presentation skills • Conversant with local regulatory environment related to the business including any finance, accounting and tax requirements • Independent and hardworking • Able to work under pressure • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications • A good team player with strong interpersonal skills • You will be working in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
