If you share our vision and possess the qualities we seek, join us!What you will be working on:The officer will be part of a focused and professional team responsible for the delivery of customer-centric corporate services within the Ministry. Specifically, the officer may be required to work on one or more of the following areas: Facility/Estate Management \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide support in the managing and maintenance of the facilities and equipment in the Ministry, including the procurement of the necessary services and equipment to ensure the Ministry\'s operational readiness and business continuity. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist to manage contractors and external parties in the delivery of various services to the Ministry, such as Integrated Facility Management (IFM), equipment maintenance, telecommunications, and pantry supply services. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist in general office administration and support services, including carrying out data analytics, for the smooth running of the Ministry\'s offices and process improvements. General \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide logistical support for events and operations, including procurement of equipment and services, and staffing of designated areas. \xe2\x80\xa2 Collate returns/requests from other government agencies. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist in procurement and payment processing for the Section, including performing checks on supporting documents for payment of invoices. \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop and produce collaterals to support publicity and internal comms efforts \xe2\x80\xa2 Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Division Director or Section Head.What we are looking for:The officer should be a Singapore citizen with some relevant working experience. The officer should possess good interpersonal, organisational, written and communication skills. The officer is expected to be an independent worker with strong computer literacy and good initiative, as well as a meticulous, self-motivated, resourceful and committed team player.About Ministry of Transport:The Mission of Ministry of Transport is to develop Singapore\'s land, sea and air transport sectors so as to enhance our economic competitiveness and quality of life in a knowledge-based economy. MOT oversees the development and regulation of the following sectors: \xe2\x80\xa2 Civil Aviation and Air Transport \xe2\x80\xa2 Maritime and Ports \xe2\x80\xa2 Land Transport Besides providing an efficient and cost-effective transportation in Singapore, it also strives to make Singapore an international civil aviation and maritime centre for the region. The ministry sets the strategic and policy direction while operations and regulatory works are carried out by the statutory boards under its charge. There are four statutory boards which are established by Acts of Parliament: the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), the Land Transport Authority (LTA), the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and the Public Transport Council (PTC). The ministry also oversees the operation of the Transport Safety Investigation Bureau (TSIB).
