The Finance community which supports the various NUHS institutions consists of professionals with backgrounds in healthcare, corporate, data analytics, project and risk management, accounting and assurance. As a member of the dynamic multi-disciplinary team working in different roles, you could be involved in the:

• Lead the monthly financial accounting close which includes:

• Performing Group Consolidation and reviewing of accounting methodologies, periodic trend analysis to detect any unusual trend for follow-up or rectification.
• Conceptualization of concise story board and presentation.
• Maintain the Group Chart of Accounts
• Ensure compliance of Group Financials with appropriate accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the financial year-end audit which includes preparation of two Group's financial statements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain consistent accounting policies, guideline, controls and procedures across all institutions and programs.
• Assess accounting operations, internal control and policies, offer recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes and policy changes as needed in consultation with Institution Finance Leads and CFOs.
• Process simplification and digitalization
• Other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities
• Besides on-the-job training, successful candidates will be sent for the relevant courses.

• Possess a good Degree in Business, Accountancy, Economics or equivalent. Fresh graduates are welcomed
• Be a team player and also able to work independently
• Organized and detail-oriented with a strong sense of numbers
• Have analytical skills to make sense of complex data from multiple sources to translate into financially viable recommendations - candidates with potential will be trained in analytics
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, such as Excel (advanced), Macros, Power Point, Word and SAP BPC system
