We are a hub of knowledge and innovation, attracting healthcare professionals who are passionate about pushing boundaries and making significant contributions to the field.Overview and purpose of the positionThe National University Health System (NUHS) is one of three public healthcare clusters which integrates the Academic and Regional Health Systems to deliver innovative and value-driven healthcare in Singapore.The National University Hospital (NUH) is a tertiary hospital and major referral centre offering a comprehensive suite of specialist care for adults, women and children. As Singapore's first university hospital, NUH is one of the few hospitals able to care for our patients from cradle to grave by harnessing its clinical, education and research capabilities across its holistic suite of specialties.The Strategic Finance team is responsible for providing critical financial insights to support Management's decision making within the Hospital. This includes driving the FP&A activities and financial assessment of strategic projects. As part of the team, you will be actively involved in the analysis of financial performance, forecast/ budget exercise and providing strategic insights to support business decisions. In addition, you are expected to review and implement improvements to existing workflow processes and guide junior colleagues in the course of work.Ideally, you should have 3 to 5 years of relevant Strategic Finance and/or FP&A working experience in a fast- paced environment and is eager to learn, embrace challenges, analytical and collaborative team player.Job Responsibilities

• Supervisory role involving helping to oversee junior staff performance and to provide guidance and support for their development needs.
• Execute the annual budget and projection.
• Providing strategic support through financial analysis, projection, budgeting and reporting.
• Analyse variances between actual and projected financial performance.
• Support long-term financial planning and strategic initiatives.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather relevant data and provide insights on potential plans.
• Involvement in the financial assessment of strategic projects as required.

Requirements

• Degree in relevant business or finance disciplines
• At least 3 to 5 years of Strategic Finance and/or FP&A working experience. Healthcare experience would be an advantage.
• Self- Driven, good analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Be attentive to detail, maintain standards and actively check for data accuracy before conveying final work product.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel (advanced), VBA Macros, PowerPoint and Word, as well as data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
