Manage assigned projects on NUS campuses (planning, design development, procurement, contracts administration, site supervision, liaison with various stakeholders, testing and commissioning, management of project account and defect liability issues.)
Ensure that projects complete within schedule, approved budget, and is properly handed back to the NUS user and over to the maintenance team at Asset Enhancement section, CAM.
Work closely with the consultants and ensure that projects comply with authorities\' requirements, NUS\'s policies and guidelines.
Provide progress updates on assigned projects for routine/ ad-hoc management reporting.
Assist in any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
A good bachelor\'s degree or master\'s degree from a recognized University, preferably in area of Architecture/ Engineering/Construction Management/ Quantity Surveyor and preferably registrable with the Board of Architectures (BOA), Singapore, Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore and/or Singapore Institute of Surveyor and Valuers respectively.
20 years of relevant working experience in construction project coordination, contract administration, project management and defects management.
Past experience in consultancy services will also be considered.
Experience in handling building development or Addition & Alteration (A&A) projects
Knowledge in local regulations; working knowledge of the authorities\' submission requirements
Resourceful with excellent communication skills
A team leader with a positive attitude and drive.
