The WSP is called \xe2\x80\x9cThe Catalyst Programme\xe2\x80\x9d which is a structured on-the-job (OJT) development WSP that allows Polytechnic Diploma holders to secure a full-time position with Singtel while pursuing a university honours degree in Applied Computing. This programme is open to Singtel\xe2\x80\x99s internal employees as well as external polytechnic diploma holders preferably from the ICT domain. Non-ICT diploma holders are encouraged to apply as well. In line with building capability in Singapore ICT sector this program will develop & groom talent over a 3-year period completing micro-credentials for each module which eventually stack-up to an honours degree in Applied Computing. • Setup, testing, implementation, and maintenance of technologies on cloud environments (AWS)
• Look for opportunities to optimize and enable consistent automated deployments.
• Work with team lead to ensure design and programme codes conform to architecture and design standards, and that design satisfies functional and system requirements.
• Make changes to configurable items, which include hardware, software, documentation, etc. It covers configuration management planning, configuration identification, configuration controls & audits.
• Assist in the integration testing, system testing, User Acceptance Test (UAT) & implementation activities to fix the reported problems/bugs of the system to ensure the smooth execution of programs in the production environment.
• Investigate all reported problems/errors & initiate amendments & testing so that the system can operate correctly & efficiently.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices.

• A completed diploma from a reputable Polytechnic
• 3 years or less work experience
• Experience in managed services, cloud-based services and/or customized managed services offering.
• Interest in developing service and initiatives that promote end-user experience through runbooks, automation and toolkit with stakeholders.
• Experience in frontend and backend web application development will be an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Able to communicate (written and spoken) with clarity and effectively to stakeholders.
