Job Description

• Reporting directly to Partners in Charge.
• Provide direct supervision and leadership to design teams assigned.
• Direct design teams on interior project research, creative direction, conceptualization and development across a broad spectrum of hotel hospitality, residential and other interior types.
• Project management of design team by setting out clear team structure, work assignments, manhour schedules across array of projects, and reviewing work and quality to ensure all team members are performing to the Company's standards.
• Direct design and administrative documentations of all aspects of assigned projects to the Company’s CAD standards and Project Management standards.
• Undertake fiscal responsibility of assigned projects. Have good understanding of contractual obligations and administration, project milestones and payment schedules, fees and budgets.
• Review and approve all project invoices and authorisation of related expenses.
• Review designers’ timesheets
• Ensure financial health of assigned projects meets the Company’s requirements.
• Be the main Liaison person to project clients and operators, maintain professional relationship and seek to improve the quality of clients and operators’ properties to secure future work.
• Actively participate in project meetings and provide guidance for the proper integration of the Company's work with other consultants.
• Mentor designers and identify potential designers for recruitment
• Actively participate in business development, marketing and public relation efforts of the Company.

• A graduate Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or other relevant field.
• A minimum of 15 years’ experience in hospitality design environment with at least 8 years’ experience in a leadership position.
• Lead Designer position for at least 10 completed relevant projects from start to finish in previous employments.
• Ability to balance design aspirations with business strategy, project requirement and financial objectives.
• Proficient in mainstream computer design tools and IT programs.
• Be a Team Player, willing to take instructions and provide leadership values.
