Purpose:

The primary responsibility is to provide day to day support to Directors and Consultants across a range of accounts and build significant impact on our client\xe2\x80\x99s businesses. A Senior Associate supports the BU\'s goals by delighting clients with extraordinary work, developing the team capabilities, and ensuring efficient delivery. As a key interface between the organisation and our clients, the role includes client engagement, consultancy, study design and analysis, driving preparation of presentations and reports as well as internal responsibilities such as project management, and coaching juniors on tasks specific to the accounts.

The Role:

Account Management

  • Lead accounts to ensure as a team all account deliverables are met.
  • Accountable for the accurate and timely delivery of account outputs including data tables, critical metrics, presentations, reports and workshops \xe2\x80\x93 balancing own analysis and creation of deliverables with delegating within the team.
  • Responsible for accurate analyses, data checks, writes, checks and crafts report and presentations to ensure deliverables meet client/seniors needs and generate insight and impact for clients\' business.
  • Delegate to team optimally, providing constructive feedback and support for other account members to ensure account responsibilities and deliverables are met to a high standard in agreed timelines.
  • Maximise account efficiency by reviewing, improving and streamlining processes and systems without compromising quality.
  • Supply to content of account management plans for key clients and helps lead this process.
  • Develop case studies to demonstrate value we bring for clients. Conduct and create impact reviews for all projects.
  • Accountable for handling and supervising junior team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of scripts, charting, fieldwork and data provision from relevant departments.
  • Cultivate good relationships with third party suppliers and provides constructive feedback to improve relationships.
Analysis and Insights Expertise
  • Support development and implementation of appropriate solutions to drive significant insight for clients\xe2\x80\x99 needs and their business.
  • Apply expert costing, sample design, questionnaire design, data spec and chart spec principles.
  • Formulate, articulate and validate hypotheses to help build appropriate, relevant and impactful stories.
  • Understand and synthesise data from various sources (e.g. sales data, media spend data)
  • Translate insights into insightful charts and meaning deliverables with clear and concise implications that will help clients make better decisions.
  • Experienced interpretation of data and ability to articulate insights clearly and impact fully.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of brand tools, philosophies and techniques and applies these appropriately to the design, analysis and interpretation of projects to deliver substantial insights.
  • Find opportunities to deepen insights for clients using further analysis including brand findings as appropriate.
  • Cultivate analysis skills, along with insights knowledge across reports on all accounts
Client Management and Consultancy
  • Develop in-depth knowledge and understanding of your clients and their business in all interactions with clients, and deliverables and analysis conducted for them. Knowledge including.
  • Key clients, key customers and their needs
  • The client\xe2\x80\x99s business and strategy / challenges
  • Client brands and communication activity
  • Client markets and competitors
  • Deliver effective advice for your clients.
  • Chip in to and facilitate client discussions to better understand their business issues.
  • Develop a point of view on specific client issues aligned with brand philosophies.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients to the extent they are perceived as a key member of the team that can offer advice and support.
  • Present impact fully on some accounts
  • Demonstrate confidence and good interpersonal skills in client facing situations.
  • Utilises \'Goldstar\' (Signature/Green Works) client management model to deepen relationships.
  • Actively contribute to client and agency meetings
  • Contributes to development of case studies to demonstrate value we bring for clients.
People Management
  • Mentor and develop account team members through constructive feedback to identify areas of strength, and areas required for improvement.
  • Effectively delegate tasks where appropriate
  • Participate in the training of more junior team members as appropriate.
  • Complete all Performance Appraisals Process responsibilities on time.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Ability to work in a highly exciting, fast-paced, and changing environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management/the ability to lead multiple projects at once and meet deadlines.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills in Quantitative Research
  • Extensive experience with building compelling stories from multiple data sources and using visual story telling techniques.
  • Ability to establish strong cross-functional relationships; influence and inspire others; critical thinking; effective presentation skills and organisational agility.
