Position Scope

The Talent Acquisition Team at OMERS and Oxford plays a vital role in attracting and hiring outstanding talent to join our organization. We are passionate about finding talent and providing a positive candidate and hiring leader experience.

Talent Acquisition Senior Associate will play a critical role to provide full-cycle recruitment support for a diverse set of roles (investments and non-investments) across Europe & Asia. You will play an integral role in shaping the end-to-end recruitment experience and work closely with hiring leaders to help to advise on talent acquisition strategies, planning, execution & offer negotiations to ensure we are attracting and hiring diverse talent. You will also work closely with HR Business Partners to provide a consultative approach to effective hiring practices.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:
Building effective relationships with business leaders to ensure that a timely and responsive recruitment and onboarding service is delivered to a high standard
Managing a recruitment bench and the recruitment cycle from end to end: intake, support job descriptions, job postings, identifying, screening, interviewing, offer package negotiation and onboarding
Partnering with the business and HRBPs to continue to grow diversity and inclusion efforts.
Working collaboratively with the Talent Acquisition Lead to build and deliver on hiring strategies and sourcing channels that focuses on diverse pipeline of candidates
Establishing connections, maintaining and leveraging a professional online and social media presence, and prospecting top talent through your network
Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with HR Business Partners, People Experience (PEX) and Center of Excellence (CoE) teams, as well as relevant external partners (e.g. agencies, headhunters etc.)
Providing trusted advice to hiring managers by using diverse interviewing and assessment techniques to validate candidate experience levels
Representing OMERS & Oxford as main point of contact for all candidates\xe2\x80\x99 correspondence and delivering a best-in-class candidate experience by managing your talent pipeline, acknowledging all applicants, and engaging in regular communication
Keeping up-to-date on labor market trends and competitor information, proactively providing business partners with insights and recommendations that will improve the quality of external hires
Maintaining accurate recruitment data and records in our applicant tracking system (Workday) .
Developing strong eye for business and staying current on market trends and competitor information, providing business partners with insights and recommendations that will improve the quality of external hires
Contributing to process improvement projects across Talent Acquisition and within the broader HR team

To succeed in this role, you have:
4+ years of recruitment experience preferably in a corporate environment, and ideally with some exposure to Financial Services or Investments.
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent.
Proven ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced matrix environment, being responsive, with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
Proven experience as an independent, resourceful self-starter with a good level of judgment
The willing to work flexible hours to meet challenging and changing deadlines
Proficiency with the applicant tracking system, Workday, would be an asset
Professionalism and strong interpersonal skills, a team player, and an ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times
Adaptability and exceptional time management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
The ability to thrive in organizations that constantly evolve and adapt
Maturity, creative thinking and humility
