Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank\'s operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering sessions to understand business problems and understand how the proposed system enhancements will address these problems while assessing impact to existing functionality and business processes.
• Working alongside business team to establish business needs and convert them into technical requirements. Guide the Development Team on building the required solution.
• Spearhead various mapping sessions for Interfaces, Data Migration tracks.
• Be part of a scrum team and participate in daily stand-ups, lead grooming sessions, author user stories, attend sprint planning sessions, provide feedback in retrospectives.
• Be engaged throughout the whole project life cycle, from Inception through post-production Transition.
• Candidates should be self-starters, able to multi-task, and be comfortable working with technical and business teams and should always demonstrate DBS PRIDE Values.
• Demonstrate team work ethic and dynamic attitude through effective interaction with all people involved in the programme across Business, Operations and Technology Teams.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in Tech Business Analyst role for business process & technology change within financial institutions.
• Domain knowledge and work experience on Securities Trading and Settlement will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in Agile methodologies.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving and process/system architecture/data structure design skills.
• Able to translate user requirements and analysis into technical requirements, and solution to meet objectives.
• A self-starter and learner who takes the initiative to challenge the status quo.
• Detail oriented and able to join the dots for bigger picture.
• Good written and verbal communication skill, able to present and facilitate meetings & workshop.
