Why This Role Is Valuable The open role of Associate Vice President / Senior Associate Vice President in the Valuations & Portfolio Reporting function will work with the existing team to provide support for valuations and portfolio reporting, including portfolio analytics and property-level performance to Blackstone's Asia Pacific Funds. The role is a liaison with Blackstone's asset management, portfolio management and finance teams in order to primarily support the internal quarterly valuation processes. This position will report to the regional Vice President of Valuations & Portfolio Reporting and will work directly with the head of the department to continue to build out best practice and valuation and portfolio reporting support. The regional Valuations & Portfolio Reporting department was established in 2020 (with colleagues across Singapore and Gurgaon) and due to an increase in team scope and workflow, we are looking to expand the team to strengthen our service capability to Blackstone. How You Add Value (including but are not limited to) The role of Associate Vice President / Senior Associate Vice President in Valuations and Portfolio Reporting is responsible for working with the Vice President to manage valuation and analytical support and performance reporting as follows: Supports the quarterly internal valuation support cycles together with Blackstone and oversees the portfolio reporting function of the team This candidate will be required to undertake valuations working with junior members of the team as required, conducive on workflow and complexity of investments Manages robust Excel models that aggregates and summarizes key fund level performance and key asset class metrics for the fund Maintains PowerPoint presentations for fund level investment reporting materials including valuation materials quarterly & Now Expected materials quarterly Manages and has complete oversight of the funds' Audit & Positive Assurances processes collaborating with other Revantage Valuations teams as required, Revantage Finance, Blackstone Finance and Blackstone Asset Management teams as appropriate to complete the audit process in an efficient and timely manner Manages & oversees the preparation of quarterly reporting including but not limited to: Fair Market Value reporting for both APAC strategies Tenant Exposure reporting for each individual APAC owned asset KPI reporting undertaken for the Core strategy Communicates directly with Blackstone and Revantage teams to ensure process alignment and data integrity Coordinate and consolidate data from various sources across Blackstone and portfolio companies and synthesize in a succinct manner Create presentations to communicate valuation themes and fund level performance to Blackstone or portfolio companies Assist in adhoc request or special projects at the request of the department, Blackstone or portfolio companies Supports the Vice President with technology initiatives as these relate to the valuations team and workstreams undertaken at Revantage or in conjunction with Blackstone Supports with the External Valuation Process and interfaces with third party appraisal firms and advisors to engage and facilitate external valuations and comprehensive review of external valuation reports alongside junior members of the team What You Bring To The Role Education . Bachelor's Degree with a major in Real Estate or closely related field Experience . 8- 10 years of direct real estate experience in a related field such as valuations Certification/Licenses: . SISV or MRICS Skills Real estate knowledge, including comprehensive understanding of Asia Pacific real estate market fundamentals and financial cash flow modelling, required. Significant experience in the office/logistics/multi-family residential asset sector. Data Center experience also preferred. Experience in cross border, regional valuations of institutional real estate throughout Asia Pacific Ability to multi-task, remain highly organized and managing shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment Drive and desire to learn new technologies and grow technical and functional skill sets Passion for making business processes more efficient and successful Excellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills necessary. Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Demonstrated track record in managing a team and managing clients Experience working in an international and cross-border team located in various geographical locations Some travel internationally may be requested. Strong MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, skills required. Argus Enterprise capability strongly preferred Python skills desirable
