The Asia Corporate Affairs team, actively engage with shareholders, governments, media, staff and the wider community to maximise their understanding of Macquarie and the expectations of our key stakeholders. Our inclusive and collaborative team is spread across Asia and this role can be based in either Singapore or Hong Kong.

What role will you play?

Reporting to the Regional Head of Media Relations and External Communications, you will support external communication and media engagement activity across 11 markets and 15 locations in Asia. You will collate and distribute media monitoring and analysis reports for various businesses and support media relations efforts including fielding enquiries, developing strategy, drafting briefing notes, press releases and presentations, and arranging media training. You will also be responsible for coordinating activities with external PR agencies and assist with the planning of the social media strategy.

What you offer

  • 4+ years working experience in the media industry
  • Demonstrable ability to create and deliver external communications strategies
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English, and ability to read and write Chinese would be advantageous
  • Ability to foster close working relationships at all levels and be flexible to work with a wide range of stakeholders, located across Asia
  • Ability to prioritise work effectively to meet multiple deadlines, often under time pressure and across different time zones.
