Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, collaborative, and detail-oriented Analyst to support strategic planning for global brand & corporate communications in our Corporate Affairs, Brand and Marketing (CABM) function. Success in this varied, impact-focused role will require collaborating with a range of teams - including brand, sponsorship, media relations, sustainability, digital channels and content, and people & culture communications - providing considerable opportunities for learning & development.

Reporting to the Head of Strategic Planning within Global Corporate Affairs & Brand, you will work across our business and global footprint to help develop plans that bring to life our brand promise to be here for good, alongside our corporate strategy and financial performance.

This will involve managing important coordination and decision-making processes, such as new global brand & corporate communications planning tools, as well as assisting the delivery and review of some of our integrated campaigns, in support of our collective impact across corporate affairs, brand, and people & culture communications.

You will also support ad hoc strategic projects within the Corporate Affairs & Brand and People and Culture comms teams, including research into external trends and analysis of the value and impact of our activities, that will require strong planning & organisation capabilities and close working with senior internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Corporate Affairs & Brand

  • Support the Head of Strategic Planning in developing and implementing plans to align brand & corporate communications, including people & culture communications, with the Bank\'s business objectives, and managing shared team planning tools.
  • Providing ad hoc planning support to wider Group CABM functions, such as in relation to project management of strategic initiatives related to narrative, messaging, and case studies.
  • Working with the Head of Strategic Planning to provide ad hoc advice, research and project support to Corporate Affairs, Brand & Marketing leadership, in relation to corporate reputation and brand priorities, and analysis of communications activities and approaches.
People & Talent
  • Support CABM colleagues to deliver high performance across the team by driving shared visibility of plans and awareness of external trends.
  • Look for opportunities to learn from colleagues and join internal and external training programmes and events to build and maintain project management and strategic communications capabilities.
  • Build and maintain a network of key stakeholders across the Bank, including within communications teams across the bank\'s major regions of Europe & Americas, Asia, and Africa & Middle East.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years\' experience of supporting global, integrated brand & corporate communications for example through a strategic communications or marketing agency, or related field.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, with ability to synthesise complex information into clear and concise recommendations.
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry and experience working in a bank or financial institution would be an advantage.
  • Experience of managing multiple stakeholders, including senior management and third-party vendors, across multiple locations.
  • Project management experience, with a focus on coordinating inputs and feedback from multiple teams and functions.
