Identify and manage tax issues: Division 7A loans, fringe benefits tax, CGT events, SBE and depreciation concessions.
Prepare tax returns, financial and activity statements
Undertake periodic management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting (as required)
Complete all mandatory training
Support clients to build better business relationships
Build the brand by providing excellent and timely services
Improve the quality of services by taking feedback well
Deliver on 1400 chargeable hours
Task management: Meet budget and productivity targets on time
Lead by example (align with the PPSA Values and Mission statement)
Improve system and procedures and initiate corrective actions
Enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
Assist in coaching and mentoring junior team members
Identify personal and professional development opportunities (PPSA Competency and L&D framework
Complete annual professional development plans with people leader
Have regular 1:1's with people leader and ensure open lines of communication are maintained
Participate in development activities and young professional networking events
Requirements
Amenable to work onsite for the first month
Preferred: CPA and CA (or close to completion)
Minimum: College Graduate of a related course
Can write and speak well in English
With three to five years of work experience: Australian accounting and taxation,Accounting software like Xero
Soft skills: Team player, multi-tasker, detail-oriented, organisational and leadership skills
