Job Description
Key ResponsibilitiesThe incumbent will Provide project support or daily operation support to MNC clients in the area of automation. Design and implement process automation systems and solutions to manage a batch chemical/pharmaceutical manufacturing environment Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team of engineers Validate new systems and changes to existing systems. Audit and update existing system documentation and procedures Manage software development projects from design to implementation for new automation/data collection systems and expansion to existing systems Support troubleshooting and investigation of production process, equipment, systems and code/configuration related to quality or safety issues. Implement the relevant improvement solutionsRequirements Diploma/Degree in Chemical, Electrical Engineering, or Computing Minimum 5 years of working experience in maintaining and troubleshooting Siemens PLC systems. Good skills in Windows operating system administration, programmable logic controllers and technical writing. Experience in packaged units, automation system infrastructure, SCADA systems, or OSIsoft Pi systems will be an added advantage. Good teamwork and communication skills; ability to interact across functional teams at multiple levels within the organization Excellent problem-solving ability and customer-focused
