WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Senior Automation Engineer is responsible for providing technical support in the field of automation and supports a large spectrum of automated systems within Manufacturing Operations. Responsible for resolution of automation problems, implementation of Automation changes and troubleshooting in compliance with SDLC, GMP, safety, and environmental regulations. Actively supports an empowered team culture including significant interaction with manufacturing, quality, Pharm Tech Operations and engineering groups.
Critical Responsibilities but not limited to: Primary Responsibilities

  • Supporting Weighing Scale, Ph Meters & In process Check instruments
  • Perform automation change controls with guidance from Automation Lead to ensure that changes are raised and closed on time following the required quality standards. Manages Project Schedule to ensure that manufacturing is not impacted.
  • Maximizes production capacity through timely completion of planned maintenance activities and effectively resolving unplanned downtime and events
  • Develops Automation SOPs, Job Aids and procedures
  • Leads and applies effective root cause analysis and troubleshooting techniques to support resolution of incidents, events, deviations, atypical investigations and fault reports related to Automation and ensures all the resolution are effectively implemented within the agreed time frame to prevent recurrence.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Bachelor’s in electrical, Electronics, Chemical, Science or Computer Engineering
  • 6 to 8 years of technical experience in automation engineering preferably but not necessarily gained from the Pharmaceutical Industry. Candidates from the other industries such as manufacturing, chemical or food industry, etc. will also be considered
  • Good Delta-V/Siemens/Rockwell PLC knowledge
Education Minimum Requirement:
Bachelor’s in electrical, Electronics, Chemical, Science or Computer Engineering

Required Experience and Skills:
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work as a team
  • Demonstrates creative problem solving.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communications skills.
