Senior Automation Engineer

Job Description
$9K + AWS + VB + allowance
5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours
Location: Central
Responsibilities
- Provide project support or daily operation support to clients in the area of automation.
- Design and implement process automation systems and solutions to manage a batch chemical/pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team of engineers
- Validate new systems and changes to existing systems. Audit and update existing system documentation and procedures
- Manage software development projects from design to implementation for new automation/data collection systems and expansion to existing systems
- Support troubleshooting and investigation of production process, equipment, systems and code/configuration related to quality or safety issues. Implement the relevant improvement solutions
- Work with various teams to develop a statement of work.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Chemical, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in automation system infrastructure, SCADA systems, or OSIsoft Pi systems is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
