Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics Developer to join our Embedded Analytics & Engineering team, as we expand into the Singaporean market.

In this role, you will be embedded full-time with one of our key clients on a long-term engagement, working as part of an Agile product team alongside product owners, data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders.

You will own the end-to-end delivery of BI solutions on the vizualization side - from shaping curated datasets in the gold/semantic layer with SQL, through to designing and deploying Power BI semantic models, reports, and dashboards, and guiding business users on best practices for adoption.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate within Agile product teams to define, prioritize, and iteratively deliver BI features that create measurable business value. Design, develop, and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic data models (DAX, Power Query). Build and refine SQL-based curated datasets/views that form the gold/semantic layer for analytics and reporting. Partner with stakeholders and product owners to translate business requirements into BI deliverables and stories. Provide advisory and best-practice guidance on Power BI usage, data modeling, and dashboard adoption. Troubleshoot issues with data refresh, performance, and usability across the BI and semantic layer. Mentor junior BI developers and analysts, ensuring quality and consistency.

Qualifications & Skills

6+ years of professional experience in BI/analytics, with a strong emphasis on Power BI. Expert-level proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and semantic data modeling. Understanding of data modeling (star schema, dimensional modeling) and performance optimization. Solid SQL skills (any modern data warehouse or query engine). Familiarity with Agile delivery frameworks and cross-functional product squads. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business discussions in a client-facing environment. Nice to have -- Experience with Databricks, Synapse, Athena, BigQuery, or similar cloud platforms. Familiarity with Databricks BI, Tableau, Streamlit or similar BI platforms.

Pay: $7,000.00 - $10,000.00 per month
