: Senior Business Analyst (Banking & Finacle)

About the Role

We are seeking multiple highly-skilled Senior Business Analysts to join a major modernization initiative for a leading bank. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions within a core Finacle banking environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of banking processes and a proven track record in managing complex data transformation projects using modern technologies like Spark and PySpark.

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Analysis & Solution Design:

Lead workshops with business and technical teams to gather and document functional/non-functional requirements. Analyze and document current vs. future state processes, performing gap analysis and defining business rules for system modernization.

Data & Dependency Mapping:

Conduct detailed analysis of Spark scripts and data pipelines, identifying upstream/downstream dependencies. Collaborate with data architects to validate data models, schema evolution, and integration logic for seamless system migration.

Stakeholder & Agile Management:

Act as the primary liaison between business users and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle. Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and governance meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

Define test strategies and coordinate with QA teams to ensure comprehensive coverage across all testing phases. Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders, managing feedback and ensuring zero critical defects at launch.

Project Delivery & Governance:

Drive the sign-off process for key deliverables and ensure business readiness for deployment. Support post-production validation and warranty handover, maintaining rigorous documentation in tools like Jira and Confluence.

Qualifications & Experience

Must-Have Skills:

8-12 years of experience

as a Business Analyst within the banking or financial services industry.

Deep domain knowledge of Core Banking systems,

specifically

Finacle

modules (deposits, loans, CRM, payments).

Strong technical proficiency

in

Spark & PySpark

(5-7 years), with a solid understanding of their architecture and scripting.

Hands-on experience

with

ETL, data pipelines,

and data flow analysis (3-5 years). Proficiency in

requirement traceability tools

(Jira, Confluence) and data governance principles. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working in Agile environments.

Good-to-Have Skills:

Strong

SQL and data analysis

skills for validation and reconciliation. * Experience in business process mapping and modeling.
